Open page →Our founder, a medical cannabis patient and cultivator, spent years hunting for the best flower in the world and kept finding the same problem: too few brands offering clean, consistent, high-quality cannabis in legal U.S. markets.
So he set a new standard himself. More than twenty-five years of growing led to a dedicated research and development facility. Over seventeen grow cycles there, Jóia developed its award-winning flower and a living organic soil system built to be repeated in any legal market.
Research cultivation conducted under license in Rhode Island.

Our first harvest in continuous living soil beds took first and third place. First place went to Super Boof. Today Jóia is sought after by connoisseurs who notice the difference.
Grown organically, in living soil: no shortcuts, because the flavor starts in the ground. Our flowers grow using Korean regenerative farming techniques, for terpene richness you can taste. Every batch moves through the same nine steps.
We start with the finest genetics, choosing seeds that promise robust plants and rich terpene profiles.
Soil enriched with beneficial microorganisms that nurtures the plant and deepens its natural flavor.
Methods built on soil health and sustainability, so our beds stay fertile and vibrant year after year.
Natural fermentation and microbial inoculants during flowering, tuned to each strain.
Experienced cultivators monitor every stage of growth and answer each plant's needs by hand.
Beneficial insects and organic deterrents protect the plants without harmful pesticides.
A patient cure that preserves the rich flavor and smoothness Jóia is known for.
Each flower is trimmed by hand for the highest quality and aesthetics.
Every batch is lab tested for potency and purity, and checked before a single jar is filled. Proof, not promises.
The award-winning grow roomThe top of every harvest
Every harvest is graded flower by flower. Only the top 10% of every harvest makes the Jóia menu. The other 90% never earns a jar.
It is a simple rule that costs us most of every harvest, and it is why each jar tastes, looks and burns the way Jóia should.
Dense, well-formed flowers with intact, glistening trichomes.
Only flowers whose aroma matches the strain at its fullest.
A slow cure checked by touch, so every jar is smooth and even.
Mouth-coating terpenes that match the flower's aroma, with bold flavor from first taste to last.
Living organic soil builds resin and botanical oils for an experience that lingers.
A clean, smooth smoke without harshness, aftertaste or throat irritation.
In-house tastemakers hold every strain to the Jóia standard, batch after batch.
We pair strains from our curated genetic library with the experience each member wants, from deep calm to bright energy. Our menu favors low to mid THC strains enriched with rare cannabinoids.
Everyone experiences cannabis differently. Our team helps you find your match.
Only the top ten percent of each harvest becomes Jóia. Available to Jóia members; you will not find Jóia on a dispensary shelf.

Pure, full-flavored oil made with gentle heat and pressure, no chemicals or additives, so it tastes like the flower itself.

Our flower, rolled and ready. The same strains and standard in a single serving.
Our patented solventless technology extracts, preserves and packages oil in a single step using gentle thermodynamics. No chemicals, no additives and no extreme temperatures, so the full spectrum of flavor survives.

Malasadas came to Hawaiʻi with Portuguese families from Madeira and the Azores in the late 1800s, and the islands made them their own. Jóia means jewel in Portuguese, so they belong on our counter.
We make them the island way: enriched dough, fried to order, sugared warm, some filled to the edge.
